House of Challenge is a reality webmagazine for African youth aspiring to realize their dreams and make their mark on the international stage. The concept is simple: for 14 days, eleven young Africans from different countries, joined by a special guest from another continent (Haiti for this edition), will live together under the same roof and take on various challenges.
The Digital Creators Hub project aims to establish a mini media studio dedicated to digital skills development and creative production. In many communities, young people have strong ideas and talent but lack access to professional equipment and structured training to transform their creativity into real opportunities. This project seeks to bridge that gap by creating a space where aspiring creators, students, and young entrepreneurs can learn and produce high-quality digital content.
The funding will be used to equip the studio with essential professional tools, including a high-performance computer, cameras, lighting equipment, and high-quality sound recording devices. These resources will allow participants to learn practical skills in video production, photography, podcast creation, and digital storytelling.
Beyond equipment, the project will establish a professional training environment designed to support hands-on learning. A first pilot training session will be organized with a small group of participants to test the program, refine the training modules, and build a community of young digital creators. The training will focus on both technical skills and creative thinking, enabling participants to develop content that informs, educates, and inspires their communities.
In addition, a digital communication strategy will be implemented to promote the studio’s activities, showcase participants’ productions, and attract future learners and partners. Social media platforms and online channels will be used to highlight the impact of the initiative.
Ultimately, the Digital Creators Hub aims to empower young people with valuable digital skills, encourage creativity and innovation, and create new pathways for employment and entrepreneurship in the digital economy.
