Mechanized Agroecological Farm

The project aims to develop an integrated agrobusiness farm combining agroecological vegetable production and small ruminant farming. For several years, we have produced high-demand crops such as tomatoes, lettuce, okra, chili peppers, and peanuts, contributing to local market supply and food security.
Faced with the challenges of the Togolese agricultural sector — low mechanization, limited productivity, youth unemployment, and soil degradation — the project adopts a sustainable, circular approach. Crop residues will feed livestock, while animal waste will be converted into compost to enrich the soil. The acquisition of a multipurpose tractor will facilitate heavy tasks, increase cultivated areas, and improve farm profitability.
Innovative agroecological practices will be implemented, including organic fertilization, crop rotation and intercropping, optimized irrigation, and natural pest control. The project will create approximately 30 direct jobs for young people and implement a practical agrobusiness training program. Over 200 youths will gain skills in vegetable production, livestock management, farm operations, product processing, and marketing strategies.
In the medium and long term, the farm aims to become a sustainable and replicable model in Togo, demonstrating that modern, mechanized, and environmentally friendly agriculture can drive employment, food security, and agricultural entrepreneurship. This initiative represents a genuine agricultural revolution, inspiring new entrepreneurial dynamics and establishing itself as a national and regional reference for integrated agrobusiness.
